Wow, I can't believe another year has come and gone! I must agree with many people who say that each year goes by faster than the one before.
Things have been so busy here at Fragrant Offering Candles, that I just realized I haven't blogged since last fall. In January 2012, I re-located my local inventory from Old Magnolia Mercantile to a different nearby downtown location. Then in November, God orchestrated a chain of events that led me to move everything back into Old Magnolia, and it has been such a wonderful 2 months! My booth is now located next to the sandwich shop pick-up counter - if you are ever in the Palestine TX area, please come by and check it out. https://www.facebook.com/OldMagnoliaMercantile
Also, in late July 2012, I opened an online store on a website called ETSY which is dedicated to vintage and handmade items. That has been an exciting experience, as I have had the pleasure of shipping to many locations both in the US and overseas. I also use this website as a vehicle for wholesale orders and fundraisers. http://www.etsy.com/shop/FragrantOffering512
As this year comes to an end, I have been dreaming and defining my goals for Fragrant Offering Candles for the coming year. In regard to the local market, I would love to open an additional booth or two in a Craft Mall-type place similar to Old Magnolia Mercantile. I'll be on the lookout for great places in the East Texas area to shop, eat & hang out in a great atmosphere. So if you know of any places like that and you think my candles, etc. would be a good fit, please let me know.
My hope for the website is to develop a wider wholesale and fundraiser market through the ETSY online store. You can also help me by spreading the word about my fundraisers as well. Groups can make up to 50% of sales with my fundraisers.
2012 has truly been a year of new beginnings, and it fills me with such excitement to imagine what 2013 holds! Wishing you a wonderful New Year full of God's greatest blessings from Fragrant Offering Candles!!!
